Iter Angeli - Angelo's journey

We are a family owned and operated business.

The character Ângelo, protagonist of this photo essay, was created by journalist Rogério Cantoni in 2010, to be the chief commissioner of a city tour held in the city of São Paulo. In this evening event, held periodically in the capital of São Paulo, Ângelo is characterized as a friendly ghost who narrates urban legends and important events in the history of the city.
Ângelo dialogues with the concerns of the human mind and figures as an intermediary between past times and the taboos of modern society. This ghost embodies the journey of psychic development undertaken by the human being, in all times and places.
The main purpose of the essay is to represent imagery of the infinity of the human soul, exercising reflection and the city through the humanitarian character of the character Ângelo.

In order to portray the solitary wanderings of this ghost through the bucolic Paraty, Photoshop techniques were applied to creatively enhance Angelo's experiences, taking inspiration from the surrealist aesthetic and cinematographic production of Tim Burton.
